What kinds of support does Cedar Harmony offer day to day?
Our care companions are present throughout each day. They assist with daily routines, accompany residents to activities, and offer quiet companionship. Housekeeping, laundry, and meals are all handled by our staff so residents can focus on simply living well.
Are medical or nursing services provided at the residence?
Cedar Harmony is a non-medical residential home. We support daily living in a warm, communal environment. Residents with ongoing medical needs are welcome to arrange external healthcare providers, and our staff can help coordinate access when needed.
How does the two-week exploratory stay work?
The exploratory stay is a fourteen-day period where a senior joins our home with full access to all services — meals, activities, housekeeping, and companionship. At the close of the stay, our staff sit down with the family to share observations and answer any questions about long-term residency.
Can family members visit regularly?
We warmly encourage family visits. Cedar Harmony is a home, and staying connected with loved ones is an important part of a resident's wellbeing. We can discuss visiting arrangements during your initial enquiry.
What meals are available, and can dietary preferences be accommodated?
Meals are freshly prepared three times daily. Our kitchen team works with common dietary preferences — including lower-sodium, vegetarian, or soft-food options. Families are invited to share their loved one's preferences before arrival.
Is the Music and Listening Circle open to non-residents?
The Music and Listening Circle is currently available as a standalone monthly programme for seniors who may not be full-time residents. It runs twice weekly in the evenings and includes Cantonese classic music, light instruments, group singing, and snacks. Please contact us for availability.
