• "Cedar Harmony", "we", "us", "our" refers to Cedar Harmony, a residential home for elderly persons at 11 Hau Wong Road, Kowloon City, Kowloon, Hong Kong.
• "User", "you", "your" refers to any individual accessing the website or entering into a service arrangement with Cedar Harmony.
• "Services" refers to the residential care services offered by Cedar Harmony, including Harmony House Residence, Music and Listening Circle, and Two-Week Exploratory Stay.
• "Agreement" refers to the arrangement between Cedar Harmony and a family or resident for the provision of Services.
• "Website" refers to the Cedar Harmony website accessible at https://cedarharmony.pro.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Website or engaging with our Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the capacity to enter into a legally binding agreement. If you are acting on behalf of another person, you represent that you are authorised to do so.

3. Service Description

Cedar Harmony offers non-medical residential care services for elderly persons in Hong Kong, including:

• Long-term residential accommodation with meals, housekeeping, and daily activities
• A twice-weekly Music and Listening Circle programme
• A two-week exploratory residential stay with family debrief

Cedar Harmony is a non-medical residential home. We do not provide nursing, clinical, or medical care services. Residents requiring ongoing clinical care are responsible for arranging this independently.

4. Availability and Access

Service availability is subject to capacity. Cedar Harmony does not commit to availability until a written service agreement is in place. We reserve the right to decline service where we reasonably determine that our services are not a suitable match for a prospective resident's needs.

5. User Responsibilities

When using the Website or engaging with Cedar Harmony, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when making enquiries or entering into service arrangements
• Communicate any changes in a prospective or current resident's needs in a timely manner
• Treat staff and other residents with respect
• Not misuse or attempt to disrupt the Website or its functionality

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Cedar Harmony website — including text, images, and design — is the property of Cedar Harmony and protected under applicable Hong Kong intellectual property laws. You may access and view website content for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use of any content requires prior written consent from Cedar Harmony.

7. Service Terms and Payment

Harmony House Residence

Monthly fees are due in advance as agreed in the service agreement. Fees cover accommodation, meals, housekeeping, and activities as described. Additional costs may apply for services beyond the standard scope, with advance notification provided.

Music and Listening Circle

Monthly participation fees are payable in advance. Sessions run twice weekly as scheduled. Cedar Harmony reserves the right to adjust session times or frequency with reasonable notice.

Two-Week Exploratory Stay

The flat-rate fee covers the full fourteen-day period including all standard services. The fee is payable prior to commencement of the stay. The stay includes a family debrief at the close of the period.

8. Cancellation and Refunds

Specific cancellation terms are set out in each individual service agreement. In general:

• Written notice is required for cancellation of any service arrangement
• Refund eligibility depends on the timing of notice and services already provided
• Cedar Harmony will always act reasonably in applying cancellation terms

9. Disclaimers

Cedar Harmony's residential services are provided in good faith and with reasonable care. However, we do not warrant that the services will meet every individual's specific expectations. As a non-medical home, we do not make representations about health outcomes or clinical results.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Hong Kong law, Cedar Harmony's liability arising from service arrangements or use of the Website shall not exceed the total fees paid for the relevant service period. Cedar Harmony is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services or website.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Cedar Harmony against any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms and Conditions or the misuse of our Website or services.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate a service arrangement in accordance with the terms of the applicable service agreement. Cedar Harmony may suspend or terminate access to the Website in cases of misuse. Termination does not affect obligations that have arisen prior to the termination date.

13. Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR. In the event of a dispute, we encourage an informal resolution process in the first instance — please contact us directly. Where disputes cannot be resolved informally, they shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The effective date of the most recent version is shown at the top of this page. Continued use of our Website or services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

15. General

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver. These Terms, together with any applicable service agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Cedar Harmony in relation to our services.
